Macro Monday: Box 72.........

OK, so I admit it, the title of this post has nothing to do with the subject. The subject is not a box, it is much prettier and is in fact a geranium. The whole box thing? Well, that is just because I am slowly being buried by a mountain of boxes (72 at last count) as I pack up all my wordly possessions in anticipation of moving in a couple of weeks time. And the reason I am telling you this? Well, that is my excuse for this being a very short post - I hear sighs of relief from around the globe - and a bit of a warning of possible interuptions of normal service due to loss of interweb connectivity. Last time I moved I was severed from the net for three weeks.......oh please no, not again. How will I ever cope!?!

Wonderful photo. Will you have some in your new garden? Can I help move some of your electronics? Just to relieve the pressure, of course.

I definitely know what you mean...box 72 is nothing. We had 45 boxes of books alone...not to mention all the other stuff we accumulate in our life...it's amazing. Good luck with the move.

Love your macro photo.

Here is my Macro Monday...Penelope Pelican, if you'd like to stop by to visit with me today!

I love your geranium! And as it happens, they are one of the few plants that don't die on me! LOL!

Good luck with the move. I hate all that packing up, sorting out, and then unpacking again. It seems to take forever! Fingers crossed on the internet thing too. ;)

GT: Flowers really are amazingly beautiful when you get a real close up look.

AW: Excellent - another wow!

Christina: Indeed, but the unpacking won't happen for a while, since we first have a complete renovation to live through!

Cortes: Yep, I have dug it up and it is moving with us. As for my electronics - go and buy your own! You really will need one come June. Of course, I do have lots of plants that need moving, and boxes, obviously.

Lady: It is lovely enough that I have dug it up so that it can accompany me to my new home.

Alissa: Another wow - I am doing well this week, aren't I?

Kala: The pattern of the petals really adds to the photo, doesn't it? It may be a nice photo but it is the flower that is doing all the wowing.

Jayne: Yes, indeed.

Hootin': Yes, I think at least half of those boxes are books. I guess I don't really need them all, but I have never been able to part with my books.....

Colleen: Thank you - keep your fingers crossed for me.

jabblog: The packing is not so onerous, it is the unpacking that I dread.......

Annelie: Thank you so much. I know things will be fine eventually. I am thinking perhaps this time next year.......

Daniela: Thank you.

Jay: Yep, that is why I have so many in my garden too. I like a good sturdy plant that doesn't mind a bit of neglect. Not looking forward to the move, mostly because we are moving to a house that needs a complete reno, starting 2 days after we move in. I suppose I am going to have to get used to going to a laundrette and eating take away food. Still, at least it is summer and we can use the bbq a lot.
